It is so worth it!

On Thursday, I had the opportunity to go to a parents day at Ammons preschool. My parents came and watched the girls so that I could give all of my attention to Ammon. (Thanks mom and dad!!!!!) We got to help them finish up an art project, see there progress, and my favorite part was to watch them put on a little program.

He has done so well in his class this year. He has made some GREAT friends, he loves his teacher, and he absolutely LOVES learning.

Strictly my opinion

Up until about three years ago, I never had much of an opinion on politics, politicians, or anything that had to do with the two. Andrew, my wonderful husband is very aware when it comes to politics, and knows a lot about everything that entails. Because of this, I have become more involved, and have started forming my own opinions about it. I was able to listen to most of President Barack Obamas first speech from the white house and I was SO impressed with him and the things he said. He has my support 100% and I believe he will bring the change that America needs. For those of you that did not get to see or hear it, here is the speech in full....listen to all or any, it will give you things to think about.

Happy Birthday Abigail!

Our little Abigail celebrated her third birthday yesterday! I am so amazed at how different my son and daughter are.... Abbey had a very specific opinion on things that Ammon never would care about. Like her cake..she wanted cupcakes instead of a cake, and she wanted blue ice cream,(playdough), and she had decided that Ammon could help her open her presents. At the store, we went from lemon, to strawberry and finally decided on Funfetti cupcakes. We couldn't find "blue" ice cream, so she settled on chocolate. She had a great day, and although at times I can't believe she is 3, there are plenty of moments that I think, "is she really only 3?"

She is getting so big!

So Dylan is now 2 1/2 months old, and I really cannot believe it. At her two month check up, her stats were...23 inches long and 10 lbs. 1 oz for her weight. On the day of our visit, Dylan was sick so we went back in a week and a half later for her vaccinations. In those 10 days, she had gained 10 ounces. I could not believe it. She did well with her first set of vaccinations and I am very grateful for the wonderful pediatrician that we have.

Then last Sunday, we did her blessing at church. It was a busy but wonderful day.

This is the closest I have gotten to capturing her beautiful smile
